5-Step Guide

Thank you for your interest in Mister Tuxedo.  We are thrilled to be part of your special day!  To better assist you, we have provided a simple 5-Step Guide to make the tuxedo component of your wedding or event less intimidating and as hassle-free as possible, while ensuring every person requiring a tuxedo looks his best.  Please feel free to give us a call or stop by the store at your convenience.  We are happy to answer any questions you may have and we look forward to working with you!

Step 1: Contact Us

This may seem like an obvious first step, but feel free to reach out, ask any questions, and let us know your needs!  You may contact us by phone at 214.363.1871 or email at info@mistertuxedodallas.com.  Alternatively, simply stop by the store at your convenience, no appointment necessary.  We prefer you visit us in person as we have a wider selection in store, but we are happy to discuss your needs by phone or email if needed.

Step 2: Select Your Style

We offer several different styles of tuxedos for rent and purchase, as well as a variety of fine neckwear and gentlemen’s accessories.  While many of our most popular rental styles are displayed on our website, we have a wide variety of additional styles available.  Our staff is here to assist you with the selection process and answer any questions you may have.

Step 3: Get Fitted

Once you select a style, we request you visit us for a fitting at least one month prior to the event.  If you visit the store without contacting us first, we are still able to fit you at that time.  As an independent, family-owned store, we maintain inventory on site and will not only take your measurements but have you try on the tuxedo at that time.  We will then mark the coat sleeves and pants should any adjustments be necessary.

Many of our weddings have groomsmen or guests who reside out of town.  If anyone is unable to be fitted in person, he may be measured elsewhere and submit measurements via the “Measurements” button on our website.  We recommend being measured by a mom and pop tailor as opposed to a big box clothing store, as the independent tailors tend to provide more accurate measurements.

Step 4: Pick Up Your Tuxedo

Our standard pickup is the Thursday or Friday prior to the wedding or event.  When you arrive to pick up your tuxedo, we will have you try it on to ensure a proper fit.  Many persons who submit measurements online will require alterations.  Should any adjustments be necessary, our on-site tailor will generally complete them within an hour.

We are happy to discuss any unique requirements you may have regarding pickup.

Step 5: Return Your Tuxedo

We are closed on Sundays, so returns from the weekend are due back on Monday.  You will receive your tuxedo in a garment bag with your name attached to the upper right-hand corner.  Someone else may return the tuxedo for you, but we request you return it on the hanger in the bag provided with your name on it.  This allows us to quickly check it back in and makes the return stress-free.

We are happy to discuss any unique requirements you may have regarding returns.
